Website privacy & analytics

Your analytics choice
With your permission, PostHog measures public page visits, device/browser categories, scroll milestones, campaign tags and selected button clicks so we can improve this website. Analytics stays off until you allow it. Declining does not prevent using the site. We also honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
After consent, PostHog uses first-party cookies/browser storage for visit measurement. We do not identify visitors by name or email. We do not send journal or dream text, form answers, search terms, URL query strings, confirmation tokens, or session recordings. Authentication and other unlisted private routes are excluded.
PostHog processes analytics in its US cloud. Its servers receive network information such as IP address to deliver the service. Hosting providers may separately retain technical logs. We do not sell the collected analytics.
Other services
Newsletter, security checks and bookings have separate purposes and providers. Their forms describe what is collected. Allowing analytics does not grant permission to process private journals, contact you, or use your writing for research or training.
